Admission Office

Admission Procedure

Kampala Parents’ School has an admissions office. The dates for interviews are posted in the School Newsletter and in all print and electronic media.

A child who has successfully passed the interview (written/oral) gets an admission letter which is presented to the accounts office for payment of the admission fee in cash. The child is henceforth given an admission number confirming official registration.

Tuition fees are payable into DFCU and GT Bank branches and must be paid in full before the child is admitted in school.

For older pupils (6–12-year-olds) wishing to join the school, a copy of the progress report card from their former school has to be presented together with the birth certificate at the appropriate time.

Parents or guardians seeking admission for their children for the first time (age group 2½ years – 5 years) should present the birth certificates only.

Registration

Our office is open from 7.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. weekdays and 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on Saturday throughout the year. You are welcome to register your child at any time during these days and hours.

The Admissions office is manned by Mrs. Mulwanda Eadmer and Mrs. Reena Walia Damo. Find out more about what it is like for your child to be a student of Kampala Parents by calling: +256 752 711 914 / +256 752 711 792

  • The admissions office is the gate way to Kampala Parents’ School. New children get through the sieve of oral interviews, plus tests in Mathematics and English language.
  • While our pass mark is 75%, the age and background of the child is taken into account on admission.
  • To confirm reservation of a place for the child after a successful interview, the Admission/ Registration fee must be fully paid.
  • The child is thereby officially admitted into the school.
  • The parent is required to submit 2 passport photos of the child and one for each parent attached to the admission form.
  • Parents and visitors are always welcome to be taken around for closer inspection of the school and its facilities.
